Street Lighting National Programme (SLNP)

Launched in 2015, Street Light National Programme (SLNP) aims to replace all the 13.4 million conventional street lights in India by 2019. Under the programme, EESL replaces conventional street lights with smart LED lights that are connected through a web-based monitoring system at its own costs, with no upfront investment by the municipalities, thereby making their adoption even more attractive.

Unnat Jyoti by Affordable LEDs for All (UJALA)

Launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister on 5th January 2015, Unnat Jyoti by Affordable LEDs for All (UJALA) aims to replace all the 770 million inefficient bulbs in India with LED bulbs by 2019. Atal Jyoti Yojana (AJAY)

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) launched the Atal Jyoti Yojana (AJAY) to illuminate rural, semi-urban, and urban areas that face less than 50% grid connectivity in Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha with 300,000[1] high-mast solar LED street lights. EESL has been appointed as implementation partner for this programme.

Buildings Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP)

Our Buildings Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP) offers a uniquely designed solution for buildings of the government, industry, and institutions to implement and retrofit energy efficient appliances and systems at affordable prices. Its approach offers two attractive pathways to clients: Energy Service Company (ESCO) Model, where EESL bears the entire upfront cost, is repaid via monetised energy savings; and Project Management Consultancy, where EESL is fully paid for its strategic input, implementation, and equipment maintenance.

Municipal Energy Efficiency Programme (MEEP)

As part of India’s Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), we are working with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs to retrofit energy efficient pumps across 500 Smart Cities.
Under the Municipal Energy Efficiency Programme (MEEP), we will replace inefficient pumps in public water works and sewerage systems at no upfront cost to the municipal bodies. As per our proven method, the investment will be recovered from the savings in energy costs.
