A Glimpse of what we do

EESL started its operation on 11th Feb, 2010 and since then there is no looking back as far as its growth and contribution in the Energy Efficiency sector is concerned. To acknowledge EESL’s milestones, its journey, and committed efforts of its employees, the Raising Day was celebrated on 10th Feb, 2017 at NCUI Auditorium, New Delhi. It was a colourful event witnessed by hundreds of EESL employees and their families. Sh. Pradeep Kumar Pujari, Secretary, Ministry of Power was the esteemed Chief Guest for the graceful occasion and the event was graced with the presence of Sh. K.K. Sharma, Chairman EESL & Director (Operations) – NTPC and Dr. Brian Motherway, Head of the Energy Efficiency Division, International Energy Agency (IEA). To reward some exceptional contributors and instances of outstanding sincerity, courage, persistence, dedication & honesty displayed, medals for “Excellence in Performance” were graced to notable employees across different departments of EESL. “Unsung Heroes” of EESL were also felicitated during the occasion. The event also witnessed release of the EESL’s India post My Stamp of ₹ 5 showcasing its flagship schemes; UJALA case study by IEA and a documentary video of EESL’s profile. Postal stamp in the name of EESL is a moment of honour, which is a hallmark of huge success of the unique ideas that has uncomplicated the concept of Energy Efficiency in the entire world.

Employee Welfare Initiatives
The Human Resource & Admin Department and the Sports & Welfare Committee has come up with numerous initiatives for the welfare of our employees, by organizing various health check-up camps, facilitating Facility for visiting Doctors, organizing internal Cricket Match, vending machines for snacks/refreshments, and celebrating our cultural values through gatherings and events on festivals and holidays. These are few initiatives towards achieving a large quantum of engagement of the EESL family with each other. Let’s look at few snippets from the recent events:
