Preparation of Sector Specific Annual Energy Saving Plan (AESP) and Waste Heat
ANNUAL ENERGY SAVINGS PLAN

It is a report prepared based on data collection, sampling, walkthrough audit and extrapolation along with cost benefit analysis to access energy efficiency potential for different sectors in the state i.e. Commercial Building, Municipal, Industrial, Agriculture, etc.  Based on the cost benefit analysis, implementation schedule for detailed energy audit for identified units is prepared and subsequently benefits the state would achieve, monetary as well as energy savings may be ascertained by determining estimated savings potential.

WASTE HEAT RECOVERY

Industry units are identified that have maximum energy savings potential.  Out of this identified units, the number of units for which DPR are to be prepared are finalized in consultation with SDA, Industry Associations, EESL

Initially for the identified industry units, the following primary details are collected:

·         Production capacity,
·         Type of fuel used,
·         Quantity of fuel used,
·         Trend of energy usage in last one year
·         Plant machinery (Boiler, Furnance, etc)
·         Etc.
After collecting above primary details, detailed energy audit is carried out to determine Heat Loss, and based on that Waste Heat Recovery Options are recommended along with cost benefit analysis and fuel savings.

  1. Preparation of DPR on Waste Heat Recovery for the state of Haryana in the selected Units of SME and Large Industries
  2. Preparation of DPR on Waste Heat Recovery in the selected Units of SME and Large Industries in the State of Kerala
